Yes, though this is not that talent search programme where you win an amplifier. Second prize is a debut CD. Other prizes encompass the opportunity to play at some of the more exclusive festivals in Hungary. There will be more prizes advertised in the following weeks and months.

The objective of Folkbeats is the discovery of all the incredible talent in Hungary within the genre and then to shine light on the winning and participating contestants.
- Will the Jury parody or make fun of those who don't make it past the first legs of the contest?
No, this is not that programme, not that type of jury and not those contestants. Each successive round will produce better and better quality bands.
